Panasonic announced the SDR-S10, which claimed to be the World’s Smallest SDHC-based Camcorder. The Panasonic SDR-S10 has a 2.7-inch LCD display, 10x Optical zoom, and support for MPEG-2 recording and a SDHC memory card supporting up to 4GB of SDHC.
The SDR-S10 measures 1.2 x 2.5 x 4.5 inches.

Toshiba has announced its new foray into the digital camcorder market. The electronics giant is hoping to enter with a bang with their recently unveiled Camileo line - so far comprising of three low-cost, compact HD camcorders.
The S10 Camcorder measures only 18mm in thickness and has a 2.5-inch LCD display, a 5 megapixel CMOS sensor, video stabilization, 4x digital zoom, 128MB internal memory and the option to upload to youtube directly from the cam. Expect to see it in may for approximately GBP129.99.

Toshiba Camileo S20 Full HD Digital Camcorder is designed in a compact form that can easily slip in to the pocket to be carried away wherever you go. The size of this camcorder is 106 x 59 x 17mm and comes with a belt loop. This digital camcorder comes with the 17mm thickness that makes it the slimmest device.
The storage memory of 128MB offers 35 seconds in Full HD. This requires a SD or SDHC card to slide into the top slot. You can also easily record on to the 4GB SD card. You can record Full HD 1080p footage for an hour. With the mini USB connection, 3.5mm Composite video out and a mini HDMI you can connect easily to the old or HD TV. This Toshiba model offers recording options such as WVGA(848 x 480) at 60fps or VGA(640 x 480), FHD(1920 x 1080) or HD(1280 x 720) at 30fps.
Some special features of Toshiba Camileo S20 Black Digital Camcorder are time lapse, slow motion (at 320 x 240 res) and motion detection. Settings such as the change scene mode and the white balance can be made easily. This camcorder is available in pink, black, silver or red colour.

Samsung announced its latest point-and-shoot digital camera, the ST80 with integrated WiFi and Samsung AllShare DLNA connectivity for easy sharing of images. The 14.2 Megapixel ST80 has a slim and rounded design. It features a 3x optical zoom lens, a 3-inch touchscreen and ability to record 720p HD video at 30fps in H.264 format.
Thanks to WiFi, the ST80 can email captured images and videos to individual email addresses or to those stored in the camera’’s address book, or upload to social networking sites such as facebook, Picasa, YouTube..etc directly. DLNA support also enables the camera to sync photos/videos to compatible devices such as HDTV and digital frames. The camera includes Smart Auto(Still & Movie) scene recognition technology, Smart Crop function.
The Samsung ST80 WiFi camera will be released in September for $249.99.

DXG USA is launching its DXG-5D7V, a pocket 3D camcorder. The camcorder features 3D dual len technology and a 3.2-inch LCDdisplay. Other than recording VGA 3D videos in H.264 AVI format, the DXG-5D7V also captures 5 Megapixel still images and 2G videos.
DXG’s 3D camcorder has 128MB internal memory and supports SD/SDHC up to 16GB. It offers 4x digital zoom in 2D mode and HDMI output. Excellent video and performance; satisfying photo quality; a decent set of manual controls for the target audience; bundled dock.No wind filter; no USB port on camcorder, just on bundled dock; annoying touch screen interface; cables not ubiquitous yet for mini-HDMI connector.

We like these cameras because they are as mobile as we are and have audio capabilities. We can take them into areas not accessible with our wired cameras or get close up shots of equipment reacting to possible activity–so we never miss a thing!
